The Founder
Omar Banihani
Founder & Managing Director
Omar is the former Managing Director of the Jordan Tourism Board North America, with nearly two decades of experience in destination marketing, market entry, and travel trade development. His work includes supporting market entry and development initiatives for destinations across the Middle East, the Balkans, and the Caribbean.
He has served on the Adventure Travel Trade Association’s advisory board and currently serves on Arival’s Destination Advisory Committee. A frequent guest lecturer at the George Washington University School of Business, where he earned his master’s in Tourism Administration, Omar also contributes to Travel Weekly and TravelAge West.
He founded IRID Collection to bring that experience and industry network directly to international tourism establishments seeking growth in North America.
